OCTO’s Charity Partner

OCTO is a community interest company supporting the Orkney Disability Forum.

OCTO was founded as a CIC to provide quality transport services around Orkney in a way which the profits go directly to charity. ODF is our charity partner as we share their values and vision to improve the quality of life for those affected by disabilities on Orkney.

Orkney Disability Forum regularly runs events to inform the local community of their services.

Orkney Disability Forum works to make Orkney a more accessible and supportive place for people with disabilities. They do this via:

  • Their range of scooters and manual wheelchairs available for hire or to buy.
  • They stock a select and affordable range of living aids for sale to help people in and around their home.
  • They provide information and advice on legal issues and resources available
  • They run the dial-a-bus service around Orkney.

While OCTO works closely with ODF to maximise the benefits to our local community, we are both distinct organisations.
